Zach

The youngest of three children, Zach was raised in a loving home in rural Germantown, Wis. It was there that his parents gave his sisters and him the chance to each learn an instrument of their choice. Zach chose the guitar. It was also there that Zach learned the value of family, the preciousness of relationships, and, greatest of all, the truth about Jesus. Church every Sunday made an impression. Consistency at home spoke the loudest.

Always a bit of an “old soul,” Zach began writing songs as a teenager and dreamt of using them to tell his story and connect with others. Meanwhile, a unique opportunity at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School allowed him, a high school student, to begin leading hymns at local churches. These parallel passions – performing artist and worship leader – would stretch out before him into different seasons, bands and ministries, Saturday nights and Sunday mornings.

Zach moved to Nashville, Tenn., in his mid-20s where he continued his career as a solo artist. It was during this season that the Lord began to make clear that his desire to connect with and help people was best satisfied in worship, in leading them to Jesus, the one worth all of our praise, our highest and best.

Zach also met his wife, Kacey – a songbird herself – while living in Tennessee. The two relocated to Cedarburg, Wis., in 2018 where they currently reside with their two young children.

Zach is very honored be the Worship Arts Ministry Director for Lakeside Alliance Church and loves seeing God move through this ministry in Port Washington and beyond.
