Born an only child, Connie spent her first 22 years in Platteville, Wisconsin.  She graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville where she received a BS degree in Elementary Education.  Connie married her high school sweetheart Tom Kopp and they have been married for 49 years.  They have lived in Port Washington for the last 25 years.  Family includes a son (and family) living at the end of their block and a daughter (and family) currently living in San Francisco.

She had a 25 year career in human resources with Safety-Kleen Systems, Inc. where she had a specialized emphasis in training, HR compliance and ethics.  She retired in 2013 and has enjoyed much international and local travel since.  Family and spending time growing in her faith are priorities.  Connie facilitated a women’s Christian book club with 15 ladies for many years until the pandemic in 2020.  This is a passion of hers and she looks forward to more offerings in the future.  She also enjoys baking, puzzling and the outdoors.

God has called Tom and Connie out of Alliance Bible Church in Mequon to do his work at Lakeside Alliance Church in Port Washington.  They are delighted to be part of this new ministry.
